Cracking crabs on the Eastern Shore of Maryland is one of the region’s most beloved pastimes, but the watermen of the Chesapeake Bay who catch these crabs are fighting for their very survival. Coastal Connection’s Tara Boyle goes out on the water with a 40-year veteran fisherman, and Bryan Russo sits down with a newly formed coalition of watermen to talk about how they are banding together to save their way of life.
