Entrepreneur Proposes New Solution to Chicken Waste Problem

Chicken litter is not a topic you'd expect to generate heated debate in most communities. But on the Eastern Shore, the role of chicken litter in polluting local waterways is a fiercely disputed topic that often pits environmentalists against farmers. Now, one entrepreneur says he has an eco-friendly way to handle chicken waste and generate new electricity, using technology developed in Great Britain. We'll talk with that entrepreneur, Steven Bolgiano, and with Dave Wilson, the head of the Coastal Bays program, about the best ways to handle a long-standing environmental problem.
