Federal Officials And Fishermen Face Off Over Sharks
The federal government is weighing new rules that would change the world of recreational shark fishing. Proponents say those new rules are needed to protect a particularly vulnerable species, the dusky shark. But fishermen say they're not to blame for the shark's decline, and say the new rules could put them out of business. Bryan Russo talks with an official at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, as well as with a local shark fisherman and an environmentalist who's pushing for the dusky shark to be given endangered species protection.
