Addiction Counselors Respond To Spike In Heroin Use


It's been nearly two months since the Ocean City Police Department announced the arrests of 26 people allegedly connected to a heroin distribution ring. Fast-forward a few months, and heroin remains a significant problem in our region. The drug is widespread and highly addictive, and public health officials say they're struggling to provide treatment to all the people who want it. Bryan Russo talks with two local addiction counselors about the extent of the heroin problem and what they're doing to help people kick a particularly dangerous habit.
