Pitching Ocean City to Would-Be Vacationers / Federal Cutbacks and the Ocean City Air Show


How do you sell a vacation to federal workers feeling the pinch from sequestration?  How do you convince people who normally head to New York or New Jersey beaches to travel to Ocean City instead?  Those are the particular challenges facing Andy Malis, whose company has been handling Ocean City's advertising for nearly a decade.  Bryan Russo talks with Malis about his strategy for the upcoming tourism season.  Then, we'll hear from Bryan Lilley, the president of the Ocean City Air Show.  The air show is a highly-anticipated annual event -- but Lilley is already making backup plans in case military flight teams have to cancel their participation due to federal budget cuts.
