Kicking a Heroin Habit, and Helping Others
Ocean City resident Kevin Cranfield has been "clean" for nearly five years. But over the course of nearly two decades, he used a range of highly addictive drugs, including heroin. Now, Cranfield is sharing his story in the hopes that his struggles will help others on the coast, which is seeing a spike in the number of people turning to the dangerous opiate. As part of our series on heroin's impact on our region, Bryan Russo caught up with Cranfield at an Ocean City coffee shop to hear how he eventually kicked his habit.
