July

2013

Many of the scenes being painted by the plein air competitors this week are very familiar to Jan Kirsh. She's a sculptor who's been living and working on the Eastern Shore since the 1970s, and is getting increasing attention for her vibrant, voluptuous sculptures of fruits and vegetables. Bryan Russo visits her studio to talk about her work. Then, we'll head to the South Pacific as we bring you the latest in our "Elcie Diaries" series, in which we're following a Maryland family on their 'round-the-world sailing adventure.
