Ocean City’s homeless shelter and food pantry, Diakonia, is bracing for a surge in demand this fall. Looming cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — more commonly known as SNAP or “food stamps" — mean more people will need help putting food on the table. Bryan Russo talks with the executive director of Diakonia to find out how she's preparing for the increased demand. Then, we'll get the back story on the family behind the White Marlin Open, which is celebrating its 40th year this summer.
