Snowy Owls Invade the Coast / Blind Boys of Alabama Celebrate Seven Decades of Music

Snowy owls usually live in places like Siberia.  But the large, charismatic birds have been spotted up and down the coast in recent weeks.  Now scientists are working to tag the birds with transmitters, which will allow them to track their movements and better understand the species.  Bryan Russo talks with a biologist and an environmental educator involved in the efforts, dubbed "Project SNOWstorm."  Then, we'll talk with a founding member of the Blind Boys of Alabama, who perform at the Avalon Theatre in Easton this weekend.
