Private Eyes Are Watching You...On Ocean City's Boardwalk
This segment originally broadcast on May 23, 2014.
The Ocean City Police Department has installed $200,000 worth of surveillance cameras on the town's iconic Boardwalk. The move comes one year after the town struggled to respond to several high-profile crimes on or near the wooden walkway. Bryan Russo visited police headquarters to check out the space where officers will monitor the feed from those cameras, and talked with Chief Ross Buzzurro about the role they'll play in public safety.
